i scored a job as a security guard supervisor in a warehouse in misissauga, so i'll be moving to milton in the next couple weeks!
very excited!!
also..
today i went into work at 7am. there was still snow in the parking lot so i just pulled in to a spot and lined myself up with the car next to me. later as i was walkign out to my truck, the snow had melted and i realized i was in 2 parking spots, haha, oh well right? some asshole leaves a note under my wiper: "best parking i ever seen ignorant prick". man i got schooled by someone who doesn't even use proper grammar. haha oh people. |

FINALLY something is working out! craig and i have a place in burlington (knock on wood). we can move in around april/may, they have to kick their old tenant out and recarpet and paint then it's all ours! it's a basement apartment and i'm super excited. |

craig got an invitation to write the test for corrections and if he does well, he gets an interview and likely a job. which is great cuz he'll be making a ton of money, but it means our moving plans are on hold until he figures out what the deal is. which is ok cuz then we'll have a bit more money when we do get to move in, but still a bit sad cuz i was so looking forward to it.
work's going really well, i love the staff in my store and i'm starting to get a handle on how things go. the business is switching everything up soon though, so i'll have a new supervisor.

so, i haven't written in ages so here goes.
work is fine, i love being full-time in the superstore. the staff are all nice, but it's in such a good neighbourhood that i don't get a lot of arrests, but i guess that's alright cuz i don't have to deal with some of the shit the other guys do.
craig started a new job with his uncle installing windows. he gets paid a lot more so we can afford to move in together, hopefully by the end of the summer or sooner. i'll be moving up to milton, which is fine cuz i don't really have anything left in london. it just sucks right now because he has weekends off and i only have every third weekend off, so it's going to get a bit tougher.
i have pneumonia. it's stupid. i've had it for like three weeks and just started on antibiotics last friday and it's not doing any better yet. fortunately, i'm well enough to go to work, so i only had to miss two days. i hate being sick.
craig and i saw knocked up last night. it was really really funny, but there is one extremely disgusting part that made me never want to have babies. i will... but it's going to suck.
annnnnd, i miss all those effers that moved from london and left me by myself... assholes. love you guys :(

sooo, i haven't posted in a while.
-i'm leaving for dominican in three weeks today! i'm very excited.
-i just learned how to use my odb and i pretty stoked to be receiving free drugs. however, i do need my hep a and b shots which aren't covered for my trip (and they aren't cheap) but since we require it for work, i should be reimbursed for it.
-i'm working full-time in the oakridge superstore now which means: better hours (hello being done by 4:30 some days), an office, camera systems, no more floorwalking, less travel to work, working with another guy and not in complete solitude, a bit more respect, it's just all-in-all a good time.
-on a sadder note, my gran passed away on april 11th (also, my sister's 17th birthday). she went in her sleep at the age of 90, still lived by herself with her jack russell and still drove and was completely independent and just experienced being a great-grandmother last month. it was unexpected however she accomplished so much in her lifetime and we couldn't have asked for a more peaceful way for her to go. she was an amazing woman, i'm blessed to have known her and to have spent time with her regardless of the distance and she will be missed. her funeral was on saturday, and although many of her friends have long since passed, there were over 500 people in attendance. rip gran <3
-me and craig went movie shopping on the weekend and bought a shitload of sweet-ass movies including: borat, the original 3 tmnt movies, major league, dirty work, hot shots 1 and 2, and my personal favourite, rushmore. i swear to god, we are going to have the best fucking movie collection when we move in together.
-i also went to stitches on the weekend and bought some tanktops for real cheap and some cheap jewelery, so sweet.
-we went to see blades of glory on saturday, so FUNNY, i highly recommend it.
-brooke is finished her last exam on thursday so i'm going to guelph to partay!
-i'm soon going to be very lonely. two of my closest friends have decided to move away from london. kayla is moving to sudbury and brooke has decided to stay in guelph for the summer. it doesn't help that my boyfriend lives over an hour away and three more of my close friends all took off to edmonton just recently. it sucks. however, i'm hoping to meet up with some old high school friends when they get home from school soon.
-kayla, craig and i found a irish pirate pub and it pretty much conquers all. completely epic.
-bouncing souls on the 26th? i really want to go but have yet to find an escort of some sort. also not even sure if i have the night off because my boss is slacking and hasn't given us our schedule for NEXT WEEK.
-i'm in love! i'm in love! and i don't care who knows it!

also... antm: fuck you renee. also, i hate that after someone dies that one of the models knows, they make them do really morbid photoshoots. bullshit that's not planned out. and also, felicia was one of the sweetest girls, very upset she got booted. but like, holy moly, all these girls have so much potnetial. it could be a sin how much i love that show. if it wasn't so lame, i'd buy the seasons on dvd. |

my nephew was born! he arrived around 9:30pm on wednesday, march 7th. his name is finn and he's a healthy 7lb baby boy! he's so amazing, i'm so excited for my brother and kelly and liley.
in other news... went to see flogging molly last tuesday. tickets were sold out, so we went in hopes of getting some off scalpers. we managed to get them for 60 a piece, but shit, it was well worth it, they put on a fucking unreal show. street dogs were fucking good too, and the opener, "the mighty steph" was just this dubliner with an acoustic guitar, but he was really sweet, kinda johnny cash-esque. it was amazing, i can't wait til warped tour to see flogging molly again. AND bouncing souls is in town in april which is amazing, i saw them at warped this year and them and flogging molly were at the top of the lost for bands i needed to see! and taking back sunday at the end of the month (if i can afford it...) shit, so many good bands. i'm so excited.
spent last night with katie and tyler, two of my best friends from college, it was like we never left, nothing's changed, we still fight and pick on each other, it's awesome. we played poker and euchre and a few other games and had a few drinks and it was all in good fun.
work tomorrow. booooo. st pattys next weekend! woo! BEWARE PEOPLE WHO WEAR "KISS ME, I'M IRISH" CLOTHING WHO AREN'T IRISH. i'm coming for you. |

i love jael. she's just cute. i thought renee was really pretty, but then she jut turned into a bitch ("she only knew the answer, cuz she is a professional photographer, it's not fair"... or "she only won the competetion because she shops in thrift stores, that wasn't fair"... grow up.). i really like that they have two plus size models this season, although i have my doubts about whether the producers would actually let a plus size model get all the way to the top and win. natasha, the russian chick, crazy. umm, i like the southern girl with the big eyebrows, i think she's adorable. and the girl that got axed, i loved her, she was a riot but kinda silly. oh and sara, i like her, but i do think that she does tend to go on too much about herself, almost a bit too proud, i suppose. it's going to be a good season, i think the photoshoots are going to be so good.
yep, that was a blog dedicated to a tv show, deal with it. |

so, i finally learned how to snowboard yesterday! it was so much fun, craig said i was better than the average beginner, it was seriously so much fun. he's going to give me his old board when he gets a new one. i fell so much, but i mastered stopping without falling. i'm so stiff today though, i kinda like it though, i got a great workout.
we're going again on monday in milton at glen eden, you can see it from the highway going to toronto, i'm super excited. i'm going to be pro.
matty's friends from work threw him a wicked surprise party tonight, he had no clue and jumped a mile when he opened the door. it was so sweet. i'm going to miss that little fucker. we're hanging out for the last time for a looong time (til july) on sunday night, it sucks. :( |

a near perfect day.
i woke up beside my boyfriend after a GREAT night with a sweet concert and drinking adventures with him and my big brother. when he rolled over this morning, he said he was the luckiest guy in the world. then we went for breakfast and he went home cuz he had to sleep cuz he works nights. i then went back to my brother's apartment and played nintendo, all day. he has every super nintendo game downloaded on his xbox and it was pretty much the awesomest. micro machines... then i went to oldnavy to check shit out, didnt buy anything, but theres things in mind. then i met matty at work and we went for dinner, and got free ice cream cuz our waitress forgot to give me water after i asked for it and felt WAY bad for it and gave us free dessert. then we went glow in the dark mini golf and then cosmic bowling. it has been an AMAZING day, i loved it.
shit, i'm gonna miss matty so fucking much. |

i'm excited for the weekend. now to just get through two more work days. on the up side of my work life, i had my yearly review with my supervisor and she told me i was one of the most positive employees working for her right now and that she says my next review i should show great improvement because she sees a lot of potential in me. doesn't change the fact that my job is really really boring, but at least i know she doesn't hate me. |
